Managing operations and handling communications of our company. Is the person in charge of hotel contracting.
Graduate of BA (Hons) Business Administration of Greenwich University and MSc in Tourism Management of Surrey University in U.K.

Menas A. Makris

Chief Financial Officer

Responsible for financial control and planning of our company, in charge of all accounting functions.
Graduated in Athens T.E.I School of Accounting.

Andreas Makris

Founder and Chairman

The spirit and soul of the company, is today in charge of strategic planning and development projects.
Studied Economics in Athens University and tourism studies in London. Former President of Karpathos Hotelier’s Union (1998-2004) .
Former member of Karpathos Municipality council for 12 years.
Awarded in 1997 by Rhodes Union of Travel Agents for his remarkable contribution to Rhodes tourism development.
Awarded in 2001 by Karpathos Hotel Owner’s Union, as island’s tourism pioneer.
Writer of four books, soon publishing his 5th.

Charoula A. Makris

Vice President

The person behind the scenes of back office, coordinator of reservations and traffic department since 1981 in Rhodes office and till today in Karpathos.
Wife of Andreas Makris and mother of Elias & Menas, native English speaking, former banking employee of Citibank Manhattan N.Y.

PANORAMA TRAVELS is a DMC, owned and managed by Makris family.

The company originally established by Andreas Makris in Rhodes in 1970 and from the very beginning set out as an Incoming Tourism Agency.

Since 1986, the company expanded its activities at the neighboring Karpathos, birthplace island of Makris family, landing the first in island’s tourism history, charter planes. Reason why PANORAMA TRAVELS is considered Karpathos pioneer and ever since remains the largest Incoming Tour Operator.

In 1989 our private company transformed into S.A registered under the title: “A. H. MAKRIS S.A. TOURISM & COMMERCIAL ENTERPRISES” with a capital of 1.000.000 euros.
